Patent name: METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC CONTROL OVER CUMENE HYDROPEROXIDE CLEAVAGE PROCESS
Patent Number: Patent No. 1699135
Priority: December 01, 1988
August 15, 1990
This invention refers to methods of automatic control of chemical and technological processes. It can be used in chemical industry to increase final product yields. The temperature at the outlet of a main reactor is regulated by the change of cooling water flow to the second step of cooling with differential temperature correction between the inlet and outlet of an intermediate vessel. The outlet temperature of an additional reactor is regulated by the change of heat agent flow depending on isopropylbenzene hydroperoxide flow. NH4OH flow to the main reactor is regulated depending on NH4OH concentration and on isopropylbenzene hydroperoxide flow with the correction of H2SO4 concentration in circulating cleavage reaction mass stream. The flow of aqueous ammonia solution directed to the intermediate vessel and further to the additional reactor is regulated depending on NH4OH concentration and isopropylbenzene hydroperoxide flow. The flow of water directed both to the main reactor and the intermediate vessel and further to the additional reactor instead of aqueous ammonia solution as well as the flow of H2SO4 directed to the main reactor are regulated depending on isopropylbenzene hydroperoxide flow. H2SO4 flow is determined by the rate of change of H2SO4 level in a measuring tank. |
