AMS Production comprises a several column Fractionation System effective in generation of at least 99.5% pure AMS product and separation of recycle cumene lean in AMS (no more than 200 ppm of AMS in the cumene recycle flow to the Oxidation System). The high purity of AMS is ensured by a control scheme based on on-line analyzer readings.

This process is an alternative to a hydrogenation option if the manufacturer prefers using AMS as a final product.
